StreamSend Review

StreamSend Email Marketing, Inc.

StreamSend includes in its standard pricing tiers many email marketing services features many other competitors charge extra for: it offers unlimited video emailing, image hosting, advanced automation tools and much more. Don’t get me wrong: StreamSend does have big limitations, but it’s howsoever worth a try.

For a competitive pricing, StreamSend offers an extensive selection of 170 professionally designed templates, aesthetically pleasing and perfect for mobile and desktop screens. It’s possible to customize them working on color schemes and graphic elements. StreamSend offers templates arranged in a variety of categories to help you chose the design that fits your campaign. It’s possible to create emails from scratch using standard HTML. If you are a novice user and in needs of a custom template, you can profit from the creative team service.

The first StreamSend limitation is restricted contacts importing options: you can import your subscribers manually one by one, or upload an appropriate tab-delimited file in TXT or CSV format. If you need to transfer contacts from another service like Salesforce or Gmail, you have to figure out how to export your data to your desktop and then convert it for upload to StreamSend. If you have a lot of subscribers, this may be a significant disadvantage to keep in mind.

StreamSend provides advanced automation, trigger-based emails, list segmentation, split A/B testing and private IP address for a better email targeting. The central dashboard allows you to track email, video and social campaigns with in-depth analytics. One of StreamSend strengths is the Email Analyzer: an inbox preview that lets you test your campaign in 30 email clients, running it through nine spam filters before sending. This feature warns you if spam phrases and stylistic elements are found in your email.

Social Sharing via Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Twitter, and Google+ is available. StreamSend offers an excellent knowledge base and free weekly webinar. Customer support is available via phone, live chat and email only on business days. StreamSend pricing options depend on the number of emails sent per month:

  • up to 2,000 emails for $19.90/month and $5 per additional email,
  • 2,001-10,000 emails for $39.90/month and $4 per additional email,
  • 10,001-20,000 emails for $59.90/month and $3 per additional email,
  • 20,001-50,000 emails for $99.90/month and $2 per additional email,
  • 50,001-100,000 emails for $159.90/month and $1.60 per additional email,
  • 100,001-150,000 emails for $295/month and $1.40 per additional email.

StreamSend also offers Large Volume Plans, Agency Solution Plans, and Franchise Plans. A 30-day free trial with a limit of 200 emails you can send is avalable.

Conclusion

Streamsend grants automated emails and great newsletters layouts, accurate and detailed reports, spam filters and previews at a competitive pricing, but it falls short regarding limited integration options, limited contacts importing options and a lack of mobile apps.
