Postmark is an SMTP service that has all the basic features you’ll need to be sure your communications (newsletter, transactional emails) will be delivered as you expect them to be, but in some aspects clearly falls short of its more seasoned competitors.
For example, its reports of emails sent & received only for 40 days, after that you’ll no longer know when and how a message has been delivered. (Bounced and spam complaints are kept forever, though.) Even if this doesn’t alter your statistics, we think the user should be able to access its log for much more than 40 days.
Postmark is focused on transactional emails, and being its core business, it delivers pretty well, although it lacks dedicated IP for its customers, which we found odd – especially since many of its competitor offer this feature.
