LeanKit is a KanBan web-based software that can help your team manage your tasks.

Big enterprises may find difficult to embrace a swift project management system based on Kanban philosophy, but if you’re accustomed to it (or you want to get used to it), LeanKit could be the right choice.

You can use LeanKit for free, though it won’t let you use many features, but at least you can work. To have access to collaborations, reports and templates you have to buy a paid plan. Even the first one has a 1TB of storage, which we found really interesting; every other plan has unlimited storage.

As a Kanban application, LeanKit uses a graphical visualization for your tasks, represented by cards on lanes, pretty much like Trello (but without its flash of fun – if you like them). You move cards as they progress from stage to stage (from “thinking about” to “working on” to “completed”, for example). Every card has different options inside, and you can tweak different aspect (due date, relations to other cards, and so on). The entire process can be difficult at first, as with other Kanban system like Trello, but if it suits your workflow it can actually be really helpful.

Conclusion

LeanKit has many features that outweighs other light KanBan software, but it can be tricky to master. Give it a full try, it may be the right tool for your business.
