Upland is a blockchain-based metaverse platform where users can buy, sell, and trade virtual properties tied to real-world addresses. Leveraging NFT technology, each property becomes a unique digital asset, enabling a true in-game economy. Upland is inspired by the Monopoly model but introduces real economic dynamics and an earning system through its internal digital currency (UPX). The game takes place on a geo-referenced map replicating existing cities such as New York, San Francisco, and others.
