Newsletter2Go Review

newsletter2go

Newsletter2Go has a clear dashboard: you have everything you need at a glance.

Founded in 2011, Newsletter2Go is a reliable email marketing service for your business needs. It claims over 40k customers in over 50 countries and sports some nice professional features. You can try it for free for as long as you want because Newsletter2Go offers up to 1,000 emails per month with no price attached.

Its design is very sleek and minimal, and yet with rich information; to be honest, we found the overall web interface a little too cold for our taste: maybe some splash of colors, every once in a while, could better our sensation. That said, it doesn’t affect the site clarity: you can use this email marketing tool with ease.

Newsletter2Go has a lot of features that can be used in a professional environment: A/B testing, double opt-in, transactional emails (especially if you want to be close to your recipients: you can send them a welcome, or birthday message). You can also send a one-time newsletter. There are not too many ready-made templates (they call them “themes”) from which you can choose, but a decent number of templates to build your newsletter. We would have liked to have a preview of themes & templates before we apply them to our work. A nice feature is called 1-click Product Transfer: this professional e-commerce tool can integrate seamlessly with your inventory. You’ll just have to add a product ID to your newsletter, and the system will transfer every and all information into the text. According to Newsletter2Go, this should reduce the time you spend preparing your newsletters.

Reports show you the most clicked links in your emails.

There’s the occasional glitch in the system, and some messages pop up in German (Newsletter2Go is, in fact, a German company).

Newsletter2Go offers a simple pricing structure: prepaid or monthly subscription. There’s no setup fee, and with a monthly subscription, you’ll pay a remarkable discount. That being said, you’ll pay for many extras: testing your newsletter on various email client it’s a monthly feature, while you paid a one-time fee to get yourself a custom signup (or unsubscribe) site. Also, 1-click Product Transfer is an extra feature that you pay apart.
