Do you ever wonder how to listen to free music from your PC or mobile device? You are in the right place! In this article Accurate Reviews experts tell you everything you need to know about Spotify.

SPOTIFY, HOW TO SUBSCRIBE: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Spotify has recently become super popular among music lovers. We are going to explain how it works and how to download it, so that you, too, can check it out.

What is Spotify?

Spotify is a music streaming service you can access wherever you are, from your smartphone, tablet or computer. It is the most famous and most used service to play music since it does not require you to buy albums or songs, but offers music of any genre and all the exclusive new hits, in a completely legal way. Spotify works on your computer and mobile devices, but also on your smartwatch, smart TV and even on game consoles. The interface is really intuitive and easy to navigate, and makes it easy to find songs, create playlist and discover new artists.

Is Spotify free or paid?

Let’s talk about money – good news first: access to the songs is totally FREE, so there is no obligation to buy songs or subscribe to the service. But, like all free applications, you will be bombarded by ads. If you can’t stand interruptions, we recommend you check out a monthly or annual subscription. There are three options available:

  • Spotify FREE: this is the free version we mentioned above, which includes ads and allows max six ‘skips’ per hour, “forcing” you to listen to the suggested songs. One more drawback is not being able to use Spotify offline (without an internet connection),  same as how YouTube works.
  • Spotify PREMIUM: this version costs €9.90 per month or €119.88 per year and allows you to listen to all the available songs without interruption and with the ability to download music locally to play it later when offline
  • Spotify FAMILY: this is the family version which starts from € 14.99 per month, and allows up to five family members to create a personal account with a 50% discount.

In addition to these plans, note that some phone carriers include Spotify Premium in their plans, or allow you to reactivate it at a discount after having previously canceled the subscription. In addition, first time users of Spotify can access a 30-day Premium free trial. Premium offers 50% discount to students enrolled at universities or accredited higher education institutions, allowing them to pay only € 4.99 per month for the Premium version. From our experience, once you try the ad-free version, you won’t be able to stand the interruptions of the free version.

If Spotify attracts you, we recommend you try it for FREE now and keep up with their special offers, like Premium at € 0.99 for 3 months or € 9.99 for 3 months.
